Table ordering built for a multi-course meal

Restaurant dining room and tables

Guests rarely decide their entire meal at once. A round of drinks becomes starters, then another bread order and perhaps dessert. Treating every addition as an unrelated checkout makes the bill harder to explain. Restaurant 2050 supports a continuing table session so successive courses can belong to the same meal while newly selected items stay distinguishable from items already sent.

A workflow worth demonstrating

During a demonstration, send a first course, add a second course and inspect the table summary before closing the bill. Confirm which changes a guest can request and which require staff. Test a group that moves tables and a guest who returns to the conversation after browsing the menu. Close the bill only when the table is ready to settle.

What to measure before you expand

Watch how often waiters need to reconstruct a table bill or explain duplicate-looking orders. For rollout, agree who can modify sent items and when a session expires. Table-session configuration is worth reviewing with the floor manager, not leaving to a default. Additional staff licenses make sense when responsibilities are clearly assigned across the dining room.
