QR menus that lead to a clear order

A QR code is only the start of the guest journey. The useful question is what happens after the scan: does the guest see the right restaurant and table, understand the menu and receive a coherent order summary? Restaurant 2050 connects table context with storefront and assistant ordering, giving restaurants a path beyond a static PDF menu.
A workflow worth demonstrating
Print one test code and scan it on two ordinary phones. Check the shop identity, table number, item images, current prices and tax-inclusive summary. Ask a guest to add a dish, adjust the quantity and inspect the basket before sending. Repeat after resetting the table session so the next guest does not inherit the previous conversation.
What to measure before you expand
Compare scan-to-first-item and scan-to-submission times, and record moments when staff have to rescue the interaction. Use readable print sizes and test the physical placement under real lighting. Roll out one section first, then add tables. A branded storefront and a well-configured assistant are more valuable together when the handoff remains simple.
